I lost my lashes when I was 17, that was 27 years ago, my hair fell out when I was 30 then again at 40 it was called telegen effluvium (the hair on my head has grown back but it isnt as thick as it use to be), I have been to all the doctors who cannot tell me why my lashes fell out or why my brows are so thin. I have had everything checked and checked twice. I am wondering if this product will work on a case such as mine. I suppose at this point I have nothing to lose. any suggestions?

Folligen cream often helps bring the lashes and brows back.
See http://www.skinbio.com/quickeyebroweyelash.html Make Up and Make Up Removers cause a lot of damage to hair follicles. |

Debbie,
I just wanted to let you know the Folligen cream worked for me. It took about a month for me to see thicker brows. :-) Heather |

Dear Lila:
Just to let you know - some do use Emu Oil, some only use Folligen (cream or lotion). We would first recommend using the Folligen Cream very lightly. Emu Oil may work better on the eyebrow area, since for many it stings when it gets into the eyes. Tips for Eyebrow/Eyelash Growth Best Wishes, -Skin Bio Team |

Hi,
I was wondering if folligen also stings the eyes like emu oil? and is the stinging of the emu oil dangerous to the eyes? |

Dear nimmie:
Anything that actually gets in the eyes will be somewhat of an irritant. But the Folligen Lotion doesn't seem to sting as much as if an oil gets in the eyes. If the emu oil gets in the eyes, just rinse with water. Make sure to use very light applications. It may be best to use only the Folligen Cream if the emu oil seems to be too irriating or too difficult to apply. That is why Folligen Cream may be better suited for eyelash/eyebrow application since it is thicker. Best Wishes, -Skin Bio Team |

MSM is naturally in the body and very safe. It started as a treatment for race horses to help their joints and improve their hair growth.
Take it until you get better hair growth. |

Dr Pickart, I used to think that my lack of eyebrows was because I shaved them in the 70's trying to emulate my teenage cousins and be trendy, but I have come to realize that it seems the girls in my family were just cheated out of having any hair on the outer corners.
Would applying folligen cream, emu oil and taking MSM make a difference to me who has always had sparse eyebrows on the outer edges? I can draw my eyebrows in fairly well and that makes it easy to ignore the fact that I really would be happier with hair. Over the years, I might have used emu oil, and Castor oil...but I have never been consistent enough to know if any of them did anything for me. My eyebrows have improved a little over the years, but I honestly don't know what to attribute this to. And I'm excited to try your suggestion since I've seen what tin peptide can do to nails, and it seems some are pleased with results. Below are photos of changes I've seen in my eyebrows...which I hope can help you figure out if there is hope for me. As you can see, the outer edges still look sparse even though the main eyebrow might have gotten fuller. The photos were taken in April 2004, May 2007 and June 2008 respectively: So is there any hope for my bald-ish edges? |

We have many, many reports on eyebrow coming back with our products. It is not the shaving that is the problem but the color cosmetics that damage the hair follicles.
So give the Folligen and Emu Oil a try. |
