yes i am using them together, i spray the copper therapy first, and then i might a little later then add the MTG, but there have been times i do them together by adding the MTG right after the copper spray..i find it kind of helps a little bit with the smell..that was really the purpose of me posting this initial question on this board, was to ask if i could use sulfur with copper..they said they've also heard of MTG and the growth being obtained by humans using MTG, if you read the thread, and told me to keep them posted on my results..and i'm experiencing growth..and they are all a mineral combination..

Yes, I thought about about SkinBio's reply to your post. They didn't raise any red flags about using the 2 products together...but I wonder if they know the Original MTG formula contains zinc.

I remember switching sunscreens when I first started using CPs on my face. Something about zinc and copper competing for the same receptors. I'm not sure, it was a few years ago.

But thanks for all the MTG info. I already ordered some.

the only thing that i know that copper has a reaction too, is vit. C..the copper will cancer it out.. i'm on obagi and i use my copper peptide serum with my obagi products, which always has a professional strength vit. C serum.. i use the vit. C serum in the daytime and the copper serum at night time..Dr. Pickart said as long as i use them 12 hours apart it was fine.. then if i remember the zinc isn't good to use alone, like with any mineral they need to be done in balance.. i'm kind of glad to know that it has zinc in it, its just another mineral that i'm adding to the copper and sulfur..i don't have any bad reactions using both together.. altho i've not got a routine down pat either, sometimes life's hassles get you off your routine.. sometimes i've use the copper spray, emu oil on one night, and the MTG the next night..then there are times i've not used either one in two days so i've done both together..lately i've been doing both together for that very reason.. but it was my intent to alternate nights, but all that has happen is i got new growth in a short period of time..

Dear JL:

We did mention this product to Dr. Pickart and the only thing he mentioned was that he wasn't sure a topical sulfur product (as opposed to taking MSM: methylsulfonylmethane orally) would be as effective.

But there are many reports of improved growth with MTG. Regarding zinc, it may depend on how much zinc is in the ingredients. If it is a concern you could always alternate their use.

Also we would recommend doing a patch test on any new product you decide to use on your scalp.

Best Wishes,
