Greetings to all:
I've been using skinbiology products for over 10 years now and I can honestly attest that everyone I know believes that I am 15 years younger, including makeup artists that have worked on my face. Skinbiology products are fabulous. I've also occasionally used Folligen as a means to pamper my scalp. One time, about 5 years ago, I had a wild growth of new hair that prompted a new hair stylist to ask if I'd had chemotherapy. We had a good laugh. Recently I've been coloring my hair, at home, using L'Oreal's Natural Match, a non-ammonia product. Can anyone tell me if I should use caution in applying the Folligen to my scalp now that I'm also applying hair color? Are there potential chemical reactions with the hair dye? Is there anything I should be aware of? In closing, if these concerns have been addressed in other posts, I apologize. I've searched the forum a few times looking for answers and I came up with nothing. Thanks in advance for your kind help. |

I would like to know the answer to this question, too. I have just started using the Folligen, and I haven't noticed a problem with my hair dye, but I wouldn't want to ruin what I pay an arm and a leg for at the Salon.

Taking time off of these products before you dye doesn't matter, but wait at least 4 days after dying would be best. That works for me.

Occasionally, the Folligen may react with a hair dye and change the final color. So just avoid the Folligen for a few days before using a dye and shampoo well to remove any Folligen before dyeing. |
