Dr Pichart:
I am black with unprocessed, curly hair past the shoulders. Would the folligen shampoo and conditioner be appropriate for my type of hair, or would it make my hair stiff and difficult to comb?

Most products on the market for curly hair contain silicones which buildup and make my hair very dry and brittle after a few uses. The shampoos with sulfates are very harsh and seem to cause frizz, which makes curly hair very difficult to style and manage. Products marketed to black women have lots of mineral oil, cholesterol, protein, and other ingredients which are supposedly good for relaxed hair but, since my hair is not processed, those products also leave my hair looking and feeling terrible.

Dear nicekitty123:

Folligen Shampoo/Conditioner works well for all hair types and textures (curly, wavy, or straight).

You may want to leave on Folligen Conditioner for 15-20 minutes for a better conditioning treatment, but just use as you would your regular shampoo/conditioner.

You may want to try the Folligen Shampoo/Conditioner Samples before ordering the large to see how your hair responds.

Best Wishes,
