Hello Skin Bio, Dr. Pickart, or anyone experienced with using CPs in the sun,

I'm currently planning my next order in which I need to prepare for summer! I work outside all day, every day on the water, so I get a LOT of sun in the summer. I want to be able to continue with CPs and exfoliation, but I know that acids are not good to use with sun exposure and should only be used at night, if at all. So, I have a few questions about what would be best to use and order

1) Is it dangerous to use Super CP serum while spending a lot of time in the sun?

2)If it's not, would you recommend using it during the day as usual, but with sunscreen on top?

3) If it is better not to use strong CPs with sun, which SB product would be better to use during the day: SB's Suntanning Lotion or P&R Daycover? (with more sunscreen on top, if necessary)

4) Should use of AHA and BHAs be discontinued entirely? Or is it safe to use LacSal and Exfol still at night? Is it still safe to use stronger acids once every 10 days or so if used at night?

Thanks so much for any advice about this!!

Look at www.suntanscience.com.

I have always thought that all the SRCPs protect against sun damage.

Studies at universities in Barcelona and Milan have found GHK-Cu to protect skin cells from UV damage.

The Suntan Lotion is somewhat more protective than the Day Cover but also more blue. Use a regular sunblock over our product if you are in strong sunlight.

Yes, stop hydroxy acids when you are spending time in the sun.

I'm glad to know that CPs are a help and not a harm in sun! I think I will go with Day Cover and an additional sunblock then. Thank you for your help!
